Wine has always fascinated me. I traveled to distant wine regions, worked in boutique wine shops and attended every wine seminar and tasting I could. When I decided to pursue a career in the wine industry, I relocated from my hometown of Madison, WI to Paso Robles, CA, a beautiful small town with a booming wine community. 

By working in a winery tasting room I accumulated a wealth of information and the desire grew. This passion for knowledge and curiosity about wine motivated me to obtain dual certifications; one as a Wine Specialist through the Society of Wine Educators and another as a Level II Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers. 

Having industry experience and reputable certifications, I spearheaded the wine education program at a local winery with the goal of sharing my passion with anyone hoping to expand their appreciation of wine. 

Creating Niche Wine Tours allows me to further share my enthusiasm with those who seek a fun, tailored, private Paso Robles wine tour.
